Rising Sun is a board game for 3 to 5 players set in legendary feudal Japan. As the Kami descend from the heavens to reshape the land in their image, it is up to each player to lead their clan to victory. Use politics to further your cause, negotiate to seek the most profitable alliances, worship the Kami to gain their favor, recruit monsters out of legend to bolster your forces, and use your resources wisely to be victorious in battle. 

There are five clans in the game. Each with their own style and skills. I must admit, the models looks amazing and it was these they 'forced' me into pledging. I enjoy the Japanese setting and hopefully the game will live up to the standard of the models.

Cool Mini or Not have successfully completed a large number of projects. I have done a couple of them in the past, and have been very impressed with the quality of the miniatures, as well as the game play. While they may not have been on time fully, this is not a major issue for me. After all, we will be waiting a year until we get the rewards, and waiting an extra couple of weeks is not an issue.

I am excited about this game. If the quality of the miniatures is the same as previous, then i will be very happy. I like that there will be Kickstarter only exclusives for some of the figures. This is what makes a Kickstarter to me - more than getting an Early Bird discount or having lots of stretch goals. As for the stretch goals, wow - they are looking good as well.
